About Us

Mezzaluna is characterized by serving authentic Neapolitan recipes fused with Florida cuisine. It was established in 2013 by the founder, German Buitrago. In 2016, Andrea Montealegre, co-owner and Director of Finance, handled the daily operations and quality control of the restaurant. Unfortunately, like many other businesses, during the COVID crisis, Mezzaluna had to close its doors for some months.

In 2020, Germán and Andrea reopened Mezzaluna, this time with Fabián Gómez participation, acting as the General Manager of Mezzaluna. Furthermore, the two owners invested effortlessly to position Mezzaluna as one of the most popular restaurants in The Villages. As a clear example, Mezzaluna has been recognized by The Villages Award Program as "The Best Restaurant in The Villages" for several years in a row.

Currently, we can only thank The Villages community for the support they have given to Mezzaluna, allowing us to enhance the famous image of serving superior authentic Italian food with the utmost quality service.
